I went to Hangar Prosthetics to make these images of Thad. He was putting the finishing touches on a below the knee prosthetic. I shot at Hangar about 2 years ago and went back to try and create mystery in my photos for a untraditional sequence approach. I believe that I accomplished my goal by giving subtle hints about what he was doing. The last frame ties it all together. My biggest criticism is like all my other work, when I shoot to make graphic images and some how avoid the emotion. This is about the prosthetic, however I seem to choose my assignments based on visuals and down play the human subjects. Well, I want to say that the mystery element was accomplished but there is a lot more to explore for this photo sequence. Oh, and the photos were toned in b&w because the not so fun light.
